Endoscopic Sinus Surgery
The Endoscopic Sinus Surgery is typically used to relieve long-term symptoms associated with sinusitis, septal deviations or nasal polyps…
The endoscopic sinus surgery is a surgical procedure that is used to effectively remove obstructions within the sinuses. If left untreated, these blockages can lead to sinusitis and a range of other conditions that can cause pain or impair breathing.
What is endoscopic sinus surgery used for?
The aim of this surgery is to improve drainage of the sinuses and enhance the amount of airflow available through the nose. By undergoing this surgery, our specialised surgeons will be able to effectively reduce the amount and severity of sinus infections, improve airflow to the nose, improve sense of smell (in some cases) and alleviate symptoms of sinusitis.
If you have trouble with your sinuses and suffer from chronic sinusitis, talk to your GP about your options for a referral to ENT Surgeons of Melbourne.
